    Shrub, 90-120 cm tall, young branches densely pubescent. Leaf pinnately compound, rachis 1.2-4.0 cm long, persistent, spiny; leaflets 8-10, c. 5-7.5 mm long, oblanceolate, acute, densely silky pubescent on both sides. Inflorescence with 1-2 subsessile flowers. Calyx c. 1 cm long, densely pubescent, teeth triangular. Corolla c. 2 cm long. Fruit c. 1.7-2.5 cm long, pubescent externally and woolly internally.
