Euphorbia gerardiana Jacq.Euphorbia seguieriana ssp. niciciana sensu Stewart
Very like some members of the Euphorbia virgata aggregate as to vegetative characters, although generally more markedly glaucous, but with the cyathial glands transversely ovate, rounded to truncate and hornless on the outer edge, and with the seeds ovoid-ellipsoid.

Holotype: Germany, ‘in Palatinatu Rheni’, 1768-9, Necker s.n. (Mannheim).
Distribution: Europe, SW & Central Asia, W Siberia. Uncommon, on field-borders; altitude not recorded.
