Erect shrub, 10-15 cm tall, young branches pubescent. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 7-15 cm long; leaflets 11-21, c. 1.1-2.4 cm long, c. 7-15 mm broad, oblong to elliptical, obtuse, truncate to slightly retuse, apiculate, pubescent on both sides; stipules c. 2-4 mm long, deciduous. Inflorescence 5-17 cm long raceme, covered with sterile scales at the base. Bract c. 2-10 mm long. Pedicel c. 1-2 mm long. Calyx cup c. 2-3 mm long, teeth subequal, c. 1-2 mm long. Corolla bright pink, fading to violet. Vexillum c. 1.2-1.8 cm long. Fruit 2.4-4.3 cm long, c. 4 mm broad, straight, glabrous, dehiscent, 8-12-seeded.
