    Type: Described from Ohio River (MICH).

Harris, 16075 (O), B-8 Kashmir, Voyage de jacquemont aux Indes orientalis, Jacquemont 1089 (P), near Srinagar, 5-6,000 ft, J.F.Duthie 10855 (BM), Nasim Bagh, Dal Lake, R.R.Stewart 3256 (K), Uri, A. Meebold 2892 (G), Baltistan, Skardu, 7,500 ft, C.B. Clarke 29998 (E), C-7 Peshawar, near Akora, 4 miles W. of Attock Bridge, nullah leading down to Kabul River, B.L. Burtt 506 (E).

    Distribution: N. America, Turkey, Soviet Middle Asia, Iran, Afghanistan, Altai, N. China, Pakistan and Kashmir.

    A common annual generally found near water ditches, river banks and edges of fields, between 1,500 – 2,400 m.
