    Stem climbing, hirsute. Stipules c. 5-8 mm long, glabrous, brown. Leaf pinnately trifoliolate; petiole c. 1.7-9.0 cm long, glabrate; stipulule c. 4-6 mm long, petiolule c. 2-3 mm long, hirsute, lamina c. 1.8-9.0 cm long, c. 1.0-5.2 cm broad, entire, obtuse, glabrous. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme, c. 5-9 cm long, peduncle c. 0-4-12 mm long, the lower 1-3 nodes bracteate with reduced sessile leaflets. Bract c. 1.5-2.0 mm long, glabrous, petiole c. 1 mm long, pilose; bracteoles 2, at the base of calyx, c. 3 mm long glabrous. Calyx c. 5-6 mm long, hirsute, teeth c. 2 mm long. Corolla greenish yellow. Vexillum c. 11-12 mm long. Fruit c. 3.8-4.0 cm long, c. 6 mm broad, pubescent.

    Lectotype: Nepalia, 1821, Wall.Cat.5506a (K-W).

    Distribution: Pakistan, (Panjar in Rawalpindi Dt.); India; Nepal.
