Stem densely caespitose, c. 30-45 cm long, densely pilose, hairs white, appressed. Stipules lateral, c. 2.5-5.0 mm long, pilose externally, acute to acuminate. Leaf imparipinnately compound, rachis (including petiole) c. 1.7-8.0 cm, pilose, hairs white; petiole c. 3-17 mm. Leaflets 9-23, opposite, sometimes lower ones alternate, sessile, c. 3.5-11 mm long, c. 1.5-4.5 mm broad, ovate to elliptical, albo-pilose on both sides, entire, obtuse. Inflorescence amaxillary peduncled raceme, peduncle c. 1.5-3.5 cm long, albo-pilose. Bract. c. 1 mm long, pilose, hairs spreading white. Pedicel c. 1-2 mm long, albo-pilose. Calyx c. 4 mm long, albo-pilose, hairs spreading, teeth c. 2.5 mm long. Corolla pale cream, tinged with brownish crimson or light rose. Vexillum c. 4.5-5 mm long. Wing c. 4.5-5.0 mm. Keel c. 4.5-5.0 mm. Fruit sessile, prostrate, semi-lunar, c. 8-12 mm long, c. 3 mm broad, albo-pilose, hairs spreading, tip acuminate, valve only slightly pushed inward, 10-12-seeded.

Distribution: Pakistan (Punjab, N.W.F. Province, Baluchistan); Kashmir; India, (Kumaun, Tehri Garhwal, N. Punjab), 6000-13000 ft.
