Shrub, procumbent or suberect, young branches glabrous to subglabrous. Leaf pinnately compound, c. 3.5-7.5 cm long; leaflets 8-14, c. 3.5-7.5 mm long, obovate, obtuse, retuse, mucronate, glabrous above, pubescent below; stipules large, amplexicaul, but not leaving an annular scar. Flowers usually 2 in the leaf axil. Pedicel c. 7.0-8.0 mm long. Calyx c. 1.2-1.6 cm long, sparsely pilose, teeth c. 3-4 mm long. Vexillum c. 2.5-3.2 cm long, panduriform, longer than the wing. Fruit 1.5-1.8 cm long, appressly pubescent, c. 18-seeded.

Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province, Kashmir); India, (N. Punjab).
