Oxyramphis stenocarpa Klotzsch
Woody shrub, 90-150 cm tall, branches densely hairy, hairs spreading. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole 5-25 mm long, densely hairy. Leaflets up to 1.8 cm long, 1.3 cm broad, obovate, obtuse, truncate or retuse, often mucronate, glabrous above, densely silky below; stipules c. 2.5-3 mm long, deltoid, acuminate. Inflorescence axillary raceme, c. 3.8 cm long, sessile, silky. Bracts ovate, silky, persistent. Pedicel 3.5-8.0 mm long. Calyx 5 mm long, silky pubescent, teeth c. twice as long as the tube. Corolla c. 10 mm long, dark red; keel sharply incurved acute. Fruit c. 1.3 cm long, oblong, gradually narrowed above, pubescent.
