Cylista scariosa Roxb.
Twiner, branches pubescent. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole 1.2-5 cm long. Leaflets 5-10 cm long, 3.7-5.5 cm broad, the terminal rhomboid ovate, the lateral obliquely ovate, acute, pubescent on both sides; stipules c. 4-5 mm long. Inflorescence an axillary peduncled raceme or panicle.Pedicel short, bract large, caducous. Calyx up to 2.5-3.2 cm long, pubescent, lower lip 1.8-2.0 cm broad, boat-shaped, prominently veined. Corolla yellow, concealed in the calyx. Fruit small, pubescent, 1-seeded, enclosed in the calyx.

Distribution: Native of India; Burma and Siam, rarely cultivated in Pakistan as an ornamental plant.
