Pimpinella saxifraga var. dissectifolia C.B. ClarkeTongoloa wolffiana Wolff ex Fedde
5-30 cm tall, branched from the base. Leaves 1-2-pinnate; pinnae opposite, adjacent pairs spaced, pinnatifid to pinnatisect; ultimate segments linear to lanceolate or oval. Involucral bract 1 or lacking. Rays 5-10, unequal. Involucel of 5-6 linear bractlets. Petals white to pink. Fruit ovoid, 2.5 mm long, not narrowed at the apex; styles short; ridges slightly elevated, obtuse; furrows 2-3- vittate; commissure 4-vittate.
Type: Tehri Garhwal, Duthie 1134 (K).
Distribution: Himalayas in India and Pakistan.
Although Hiroe in his Umbelliferae of Asia, has included this under V. coniifolia, these are two quite distinct species.
