Trachyspermum baluchistanicum E. Nasir in Biologia (Lahore). 9, 1:40. 1963.
Perennial, up to 40 cm tall, erect or decumbent. Root long tapering. Stems many from the base; branches pubescent. Leaves radical and cauline, pinnate; pinnae ternate, pubescent; segments linear to oval. Umbels numerous, lateral and terminal. Involucre of 5-8 linear, pubescent bracts, rarely pinnate. Rays 8-15, pubescent, unequal. Involucel of 5-8 linear bractlets, longer than the flower¬ing umbellet. Pedicels twice as long as the fruit, pubescent. Fruit ovoid, 1.5 mm long, densely covered with T-shaped hairs; ridges distinct; furrows 1-vittate; commissure 2-vittate.
Type: Baluchistan, Ziarat, Lace 3874 (Holotype, K; Isotype, E).
Distribution: W. Pakistan.
This has only been collected from the Ziarat area in Baluchistan.
