Scaligeria stewartiana (Nasir) Nasir, comb. nov.
Bunium stewartianum E. Nasir
20-60 cm tall, glabrous, branched. Root globose, c. 2 cm in diameter. Leaves 2-3-pinnate; lower petiolate; upper sessile to subsessile; segments filiform to linear or lanceolate, 2-5 cm long. Involucral bracts lacking. Rays 6-12, up to 5 cm long. Involucel of 1-5 minute, white margined bractlets or lacking. Petals white to rose purple. Fruit ovoid, 2 mm long, brownish-black; ridges obscure; furrows 2-3-vittate; vittae minute; commissure 4-vittate. Inner seed face sulcate, 2-grooved.
Type: Kahuta Road, near Rawalpindi, E. Nasir 29131 (RAW).
Distribution: Foothills from 500 to 1000 m in the northern parts of W. Pakistan.
