Ligusticum stewartii (Hiroe) E. Nasir, comb. nov.

  • Selinum stewartii Hiroe

    Plants c. 1 m tall, glabrous. Tap root long. Stem base fibrous. Leaves radical and cauline, 3-pinnate; pinnae pinnatisect; segments short and narrowly linear; upper leaves few. Base of the umbel pubescent. Involucre of 5-6 whitish linear bracts, 5-8 mm long, glabrous, acute. Rays 8-12, 1-2 cm long, glabrous. Involucel of 5-8 linear bractlets, 5-6 mm long, acuminate. Clayx teeth minute, acute. Pedicels puberulous. Petals white. Fruit dorsally sub-compressed; ridges pro¬minent, lateral narrowly winged; furrows 3-4-vittate; commissure 6-8-vittate. Inner seed face slightly concave.
