Plants up to 40 cm tall. Long tap root. Stem base fibrous; stem slender, dichotomously branched. Leaves mostly radical, pinnate, 5-7 cm long; pinnae pinnatisect; segments lanceolate to ovate; cauline leaves reduced, few. Peduncle 5-10 cm long. Involucre of 3-5 white margined linear bractlets. Rays 4-6, 1-3 cm long. Involucel of 3-5 minute white margined bractlets. Calyx teeth minute, triangular. Petals yellow. Fruit ovate, 2.5 mm long, tubercled; furrows 1-vittate. Albumen sulcate. 
 
 
Type: Chitral, Oihor Gol, Bowes Lyon 825 (Holotype, BM; Isotype, RAW).  
Distribution: Chitral in W.
