Annual (or perennating?) herb,5-20 cm long, spreading or suberect, branched, pubescent. Leaves oblong pinnatifid to sinuate-dentate, 2-4-lobed, 15-40 mm long, 3-15 mm broad. Racemes 10-20-flowered, lax, up to 15 (-20) cm long in fruit. Flowers c. 1.5 mm across, yellowish, subsessile; pedicel c. 1 mm long, thickened and appressed to axis in fruit. Sepals c. 1 mm long. Petals c. 1.2 mm long. Stamens c. 0.7:1 mm long. Siliculae 2.5-3 mm long, c. 2 mm broad, sub-orbiculate or cubical with 6-8 horn-like ridges; lower siliculae sometimes hornless; stylar beak c. 1 mm long, conical; seed c. 2 mm long, oblong, brown.

Fl. Per.: March-May.

Type: Turkestan, Kizyl kum, Bunge (LE, K).

Distribution: Turcomania, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

A good fodder for camels and sheep.
