Farsetia jacquemontii subsp. edgeworthii (Hook.f. & Thoms.) Jafri in Notes Roy.Bot. Gard. Edin. 22:213. 1957.
Farsetia aegyptiaca auct.Farsetia aegyptiaca var. gracilior Boiss.Farsetia edgeworthii Hook.f. & Thoms.
Habit and appearance exactly like the type race, but leaves generally elongated, fruits (15-) 18-21 mm long, 5-7 mm broad. However, overlapping in fruit character between this and the above subspecies is not lacking.
Fl. Per.: April-June.
Type: Pakistan: Punjab, Salt range, Edgeworth 1012 (K).
Distribution: Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India.
It seems to be more common in Salt range and arid frontier hills, and often has slightly darker colour than the type subspecies.
