Achyranthes aspera var. aspera.
Leaves broadly oval to almost round, obtuse or abruptly apiculate at the apex. Flowers c. 3-4.5 mm, short and rather plump in appearance.
Apparently the commonest and most widespread form of the species in Pakistan, as it is throughout the Indian sub-continent, occurring as a weed of waste and cultivated ground etc. It occurs in most of the tropical regions of the world.
