Bulbs elongated, c. 1 cm thick, coats coriaceous, brownish. Scape up to 20 cm tall, base covered with glabrous leaf sheaths. Leaves 2-3, filiform, up to 1 mm broad. Tepals rose coloured, oblong, 4-5 mm long. Filaments exserted, entire, connate at the base, feebly coloured.
Type: Described from Hindukush mountains.
Distribution: Pakistan, Afghanistan, Pamir-Alai, Tien Shan.
This species has been reported from Chitral in the Tirich Mir region by Wendelbo. (“Shokor Shal, 3700 m, Wendelbo s.n.”).
