Bulbs cylindrical, c. 2.5 cm long, fibrous. Scape up to 50 cm tall. Leaves 5-6, linear, c. 30 cm long, 1-2 cm broad, glabrous, obtuse. Umbel hemispherical, c. 6 cm across. Flowers laxly arranged. Pedicels unequal, 2-5 cm long. Perigonium campanulate. Tepals purple, lanceolate, c. 1 cm long, acute. Stamens shorter than the tepals; filaments linear, entire. Ovary globose; stigmas 3, recurved.
