Sophora mollis var.duthiei Prain
Differs from Sophora mollis ssp. griffithii in having the young branches and leaflets not silky, glabrous or sparingly pilose and from Sophora mollis ssp. mollis in having wingless fruits. Leaflets c. 1.6 cm long, c. 9 mm broad.
Holotype: Chitral, Markanda, 5000 ft, 28.5.1895, Duthie 16048 (K).
Distribution: Chitral.
