Astragalus scorpiurus var. glaber Ali in Kew Bull. 28(2):297. 1973.
Differs from Astragalus scorpiurus var. scorpiurus in being totally glabrous plant.
Fl.Per.: March-April.
Holotype: C-6 Kohat, 21.4.1964, A.B. Afridi (KUH).
Distribution: Presently known from the type locality only.
Two types of hairs, stiff, spreading longer hairs and the smaller thinner hairs (present in the undergrowth) are present on the fruits of this species also. Sometimes only a few smaller thinner hairs may be present. Astragalus sarobiensis Rech.f. is probably synonymous with this taxon.
