Root woody. Stem reduced, internodes covered with persistent stipules and leaf bases. Leaf imparipinnately compound, rachis c. 5-13 cm long, uniformly pubescent, petiole c. 2.3-10.0 cm long. Leaflets verticillate, 4-12 whorls per leaf, each whorl consisting of 3-6 leaflets, each c. 5-12 mm long, c. 1-2 mm broad, permanently conduplicate, linear to linear-obovate, entire, acute, uniformly pubescent on both sides; petiolule less than 1 mm long; stipules adnate, c. 6-10 mm long, pubescent. Inflorescence a scorpioid cyme, peduncle c. 3-20 mm long, pubescent. Bracts c. 5-7 mm long, pubescent. Pedicel c. 3-6 mm long, glabrous or sparsely hairy. Calyx c. 15 mm long, minutely hairy towards the teeth, glabrous below, teeth c. 3-4 mm long. Vexillum c. 28 mm long, panduriform. Wing c. 25-26 mm long. Keel c. 21-22 mm long. Ovary c. 6-7 mm long, pubescent, stipe c. 2 mm long.

Distribution: Endemic to Chitral.
