Astragalus candolleanus var. pindreensis Benth. ex Baker
Perennial herb, stem up to 15 cm long, minutely hairy when young, glabrous when old. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 5.5-17 cm long, pubescent; leaflets c. 15-25, c. 4-7 mm long, c. 2-5 mm broad, obovate, elliptic to broadly oblong, entire, obtuse-retuse, glabrous above, pilose below either uniformly or only along the midrib and margins; petiolule less than 1 mm; stipules c.2-8 mm long, minutely pubescent when young, glabrous when old. Inflorescence a 2-3-flowered, peduncled raceme. Peduncle c. 1-3.2 cm long, pubescent. Bracts c. 4-6 mm long, pubescent. Pedicel c. 4 mm long, pubescent, hairs white and black. Calyx c. 12 mm long, pubescent, hairs black, teeth c. 3-4 mm long. Vexillum c. 23 mm long. Wing c. 19-20 mm long. Keel c. 16 mm long. Fruit sessile, c. 13-19 mm long, c. 6-7 mm broad, pilose, hairs yellow, spreading; bilocular.
