Astragalus kuramensis Baker in J. Linn.Soc.(Bot.). 18:46. 1880.

Perennial herb, erect. Stem densely pubescent, hairs long, spreading. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 18 cm or less long; leaflets 21-31, c. 12-21 mm long, c. 5-12 mm broad, elliptic, obtuse, sparsely pubescent on both sides ; stipules foliaceous, c. 20-22 mm long. Inflorescence axillary, sessile, c. 3 cm long. Bracts c. 10 mm long, villous. Pedicel c. 1.5 mm long, densely pilose. Calyx c. 11-12 mm long, pilose, teeth c. 5-6 mm long. Vexillum c. 14-15 mm long, glabrous. Wing c. 13 mm long. Keel c. 12 mm long. Fruit c. 12-15 mm long, tapering at both the ends, villous, hairs spreading, stipitate.
