Perennial herb, erect, c. 20-40 cm tall. Stem pubescent to subglabrous. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 3-6 cm long, leaflets c. 13-19, c. 2-11 mm long, c. 2-7 mm broad, elliptic, subtruncate, rarely subemarginate, glabrous; stipules small, membranous. Inflorescence a 1-4-flowered pedunculate raceme, peduncle c. 2-4 cm long. Bract minute. Pedicel c. 2 mm long, subglabrous. Calyx c. 3 mm long, glabrous. Vexillum c. 8 mm long. Wing and keel smaller, curved. Fruit c. 12-20 mm long, c. 4 mm broad, unilocular; endocarp separating as a thin membrane, and produced as septa between seeds. Seeds 3-6.
