Perennial herb, c. 10 cm tall. Stem almost completely covered by the persistent leaf bases. Leaf paripinnately compound; petiole c. 7-15 mm long; rachis c. 2-3.5 cm long, sparsely pubescent, hairs spreading. Leaflets c. 12-18, c. 2-6 mm long, c. 1.5-2 mm broad, obovate, oblong-obovate, obtuse, mucronate, sparsely pilose on both sides, hairs pale yellow, spreading, stipules free, c. 3-6 mm long, minutely pilose to glabrous. Inflorescence 2-4-flowered in the axil of the leaf. Bracts c. 4 mm long, pilose. Pedicel c. 3 mm long, pilose. Calyx c. 11-13 mm long, sparsely pilose, teeth c. 3-4 mm long. Vexillum c. 21 mm long, panduriform, glabrous. Wing c. 19 mm long. Keel c. 16 mm long. Fruit c. 1.0 cm long, c. 5 mm broad, uniformly pilose, bilocular, many seeded; stipe c. 1 mm long.

Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province); Afghanistan.
