Woody shrub, young branches woolly. Leaf paripinnately compound, c. 2.5-5.5 cm long, leaflets c. 10-14, oblanceolate, c. 5-6 mm long, mucronate, silky; stipules membranous, connate behind the rachis. Flowers few, sessile in the axil of the leaf, scarcely exceeding the stipules. Calyx c. 6-6.5 mm long, cleft to the base, each lobe densely woolly. Corolla yellow, little exserted. Vexillum panduriform. Wing and keel equal to the vexillum. Fruit shorter than the calyx, silky, sessile.

Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province, Baluchistan); Kashmir; India, N. Punjab; Afghanistan 8000-13000 ft., temperate to alpine region.
