Astragalus sesbanoides Royle ex Benth.
Erect, several feet tall, pubescent. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 5-11 cm long, leaflets 21-41, c. 3-10 mm long, oblong, subobtuse, pubescent, hairs minute, silvery; stipules minute. Inflorescence c. 5-20 cm long pedunculate raceme. Bracts linear, minute. Pedical short, pubescent, hairs black and white. Calyx c. 2.5-4.0 mm long, glabrous, teeth deltoid. Vexillum c. 9-13 mm long. Wing shorter than keel. Fruit c. 19-22 mm long, bilocular, 4-6 seeded, stipe longer than calyx.

Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province, Baluchistan); India (N. Punjab, Kumaun, Garhwal).
