Perennial herb, caespitose. Leaf imparipinnately compound, petiole 1-4 cm long, rachis (excluding petiole) c. 1.5-3.0 cm long, appressly pubescent, leaflets 9-19, lateral leaflets opposite to subopposite to alternate, 3-10 mm long, 3.0-6.0 mm broad, obovate, orbicular-oblong, entire, obtuse, sericeous. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme. Bracts ovate, subequal to pedicel. Calyx c. 9 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, teeth 2.5-3.0 mm long. Vexillum c. 14 mm long. Fruit 2.7-3.7 cm long (including the tip), 3-4 mm broad, semi-circular, uniformly pubescent, hairs white, bilocular, septum almost complete, 14-16-seeded.
