Lespedeza juncea var. juncea
Undershrub up to 1 m tall, branches densely pubescent. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole c. 4 mm long, leaflets 7.5-20 mm, obovate, obtuse or truncate, mucronate, glabrous to subglabrous above, densely silky below, stipules c. 2.5 mm long, linear. Inflorescence 2-4-flowered pedunculate umbel, peduncle and pedicel more than 5 mm long. Bracts and bracteoles minute. Pedicel 0-2.5 mm long. Calyx c. 2.5 mm long, pubescent, teeth much longer than the cup. Corolla 5-7 mm long, pale yellow or pink. Fruit 2.5-3.0 mm long, silky.
