    Erect shrub, 60-120 cm tall, branches densely pubescent. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole up to 6.5 cm long, appressed hairy; leaflets up to 3.5 cm long, 3.0 cm broad, elliptic, orbicular or broadly obovate, retuse, mucronate, glabrous above, thinly appressed pubescent below; stipules 3.5-6.5 mm long, persistent. Inflorescence axillary peduncled raceme, 7.5-15 cm long, panicled at the end of the branches; peduncle up to 8.0 cm long. Bracts c. 2 mm long, persistent. Pedicel 6-10 mm long, pubescent. Calyx 5-5.5 mm long, densely silky, teeth slightly exceeding the tube. Corolla purplish blue, c. 10 mm long, keel incurved, pointed, Fruit c. 10-11 mm long, beaked with a persistent style base, 2.5 mm long, appressed pubescent.

    Distribution: Pakistan; India (N.Punjab); Kashmir.

    Grown as an ornamental plant.
