Althaea lavateraeflora DC.
This species resembles the preceding species in habit and flowers. It, however, differs chiefly in palmi-partite leaves in the upper part or the branches and in narrower calyx lobes.
Type: Prope Seydeol rodius Lipain.
Distribution: Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria (fide Zohary l.c.).
In Pakistan it is occasionally cultivated in northern hilly areas.
