Alcea pallida (Waldst.& Kit.), Bess.Enun. 2.872. 1822. Boiss., l.c. 832; Zohary, l.c. 12:11.
Althaea pallida W. & K.
This species also resembles Alcea rosea L. but differs by having dense, persistent stellate hairs on the stem.
It is said to be introduced in Baluchistan at Kalat and Nasirabad (teste Burkill 1909, Stewart 1972). I have not seen any specimen of this species from Pakistan.
