Perennial, c. 12 cm tall, glabrous, root stout, leaves plamati-5-sect, suborbicular-angled, 12-18 mm broad, segments narrow (4-7 mm), rhombic-cuneate, pinnatifid-partite into obtuse acute lobes. Stems 2-3, leafy, compact, procumbent. Stipules 6-8 mm long, lanceolate-ovate, brown. Petiole of basal leaves 2-5 cm long, exserted over foliage, peduncles 3.4-6.7 cm. Bracts 3-3.5 mm long, linear-lanceolate, ciliate, reddish brown. Pedicel 2.2-3 cm long, up to 3.7 cm in fruit, eglandular, erect after anthesis. Sepals 6-7 mm long, broad, ovate or ovate lanceolate, eglandular, awn less than 1 mm, petal faintly nerved, puberulous. Petals c. 12 mm long, obovate, white to pink, pale, claw ciliate. Mericarps pubescent; beak 14 mm, hispid.

Distribution: Pamir Alai, Fergana, Badakhshan and Upper Chitral.
Similar to Geranium collinum, but plant dwarf with ascending stems, the leaves much smaller (14-40 mm broad) with narrow leaf segments (4-5 mm broad), smaller seeds, and the flowers usually exserted above the foliage and of a pale pink or white colour.
