Erodium niveum Decne.
Annual with dense white appressed patent hairs. Leaves narrow ovate, 10-25 x 4 -10 mm, dense silky; petiole up to 3.4 cm long. Mericarps 4-4.5 mm long, beak 3-4.5 cm long.
Type: Egypt, ‘Tor desert’, Bove 154 (holo. P; iso. K!).
Distribution: N. Africa. Jordan, Iraq, Arabia, S. Iran & Baluchistan.
Resembles Monsonia heliotropiodes, but with narrower more silvery leaves and a shorter beak to the fruit.
