A glandular much branched annual or undershrub. Peduncles 1 (-2)-flowered. Petals 10-12 mm long. Mericarps 8-9 mm long. Beak 5-8 cm long.

Type: Senegal ‘Lamsar Prope Saint Louis’, Perrottet (holo? P).  
Distribution: Africa, Arabia, Pakistan and India.
