Plant tufted, woody at the base. Stems many, 20-30 cm long, sparsely hairy, white. Leaves sessile or shortly petiolate, 2-3 cm long, 4-6 mm broad, ovate-lanceolate; apex acute, margin serrate to crenate, rarely entire; upper surface sub-glabrous, lower dense or sparsely hairy. Pedicel up to 15 mm long. Calyx c. 1 cm long, triangular to lanceolate, with rigid hairs, acute; appendage c.2 mm long acute. Corolla campanulate, 15-20 mm long, glabrous, white with brown lines. Style included in corolla.

Type: Chitral, Mirkhani, S.W. Drosh, 1500 m, J.D.A. Stainton 2288 (BM; isotype RAW).
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
