Plant 8-20 cm tall, suffruticose, hirsute; root thick, elongated, woody. Stems light-brown, branched. Leaves hirsute, oval to ovate, 10-20 x 3-10 mm, shortly petiolate to sessile, margin wavy to denticulate, apex ± acute. Flowers at the tips of branches. Calyx segments lanceolate; appendage ± as long as the segments. Corolla 10-15 mm long, tubular, pubescent outside. Style included, reaching the base of corolla lobes.

Type: Afghanistan, Palghan near Kabul, Gilli 3873 (W).
Distribution: Afghanistan, Chitral.
Not previously recorded from Pakistan.
