Inflorescentia haud dense glanduloso-hirsuta. Pill (0.4-) 0.7-1.2 mm longi. Bractea 4-9.5 mm longa. Inflorescence not dense glandular-hairy. Hairs (0.4-) 0.7-1.2 mm long. Bract 4-9.5 mm long.

Holotype: above Chapri R. House, c. 3400 m, Parachinar, M.A. Siddiqi & Y. Nasir 6558 (RAW, iso. H!).
Distribution: Kurram, Hariab district and Khyber Agency.
Watt (1882) considered this taxon as a variety of Androsace sempervivoides. Jacquem. ex Duby. Wendelbo thought that it represented a new species and named it as Androsace acutifolia (a ticket name only), which later (1965) he rightly concluded as being conspecific with Androsace himalaica.
