Heliotropium multiflorum Rech. f., Aellen and Esfand.
Perennial up to 35 cm tall, branched from the base; branches ascending, greyish-tomentose. Shorter hairs appressed, less than 0.5 mm long; longer spreading, up to 0.6 mm long. Petiole up to 25 mm long. Lamina 15-36 x 12 mm, ovate to ovate-oblong, usually cuneate, greyish-white with dense hairs up to 0.5 mm long, ± acute, entire to subundulate, nerves impressed on upper surface. In-florescence up to 15 cm long, spreading with uniseriate flowers. Calyx 2-2.5 mm long, 5-partite, lobes linear, densely hairy. Corolla 2.5-3 mm long, tubular, retrorsely hairy; glabrous within; lobes 0.8-1 mm long, obtuse-undulate, dentitions between lobes occasional. Anthers 1.5-1.8 mm long, apiculate, attached c. 0.6 mm from the corolla base. Stigma 1-1.2 mm long, ovoid, retrorsely hairy. Nutlets 1.5-1.6 mm long, ovoid, retrorsely hairy with short white hairs.
