Decalepidanthus sericophyllus Riedl
Perennial. Stem bushy, branched, softly hairy. Leaves 50-90 x 5-9 mm, lanceolate, narrowed towards the base; upper and lower surface with appressed hairs; midrib prominent on undersurface with subpatent hairs. Flowers purplish-blue, up to 7 in number. Bracts ± 2.5 mm long, lanceolate. Pedicel c. 1 mm long, slightly longer in fruit. Corolla 34 mm long, ± tubular, lobes acute, c. 1 mm long; basal or nectar scales 10, less than 1 mm long, 5 alternating with the stamens and 5 with the lobes. Filaments 3.4 mm long, slender. Style slightly longer; stigma 2-lobed..Nutlets not seen.
