Closely allied to Minuartia kashmirica but differing in the compact few flowered inflorescence, pedicels often shorter than sepals and absence of bracteoles. Reportedly collected from Gilgit (fide Majumdar & Girl, l.c.).

Distribution: Kashmir eastward to Himachal Pradesh, W. Himalaya.
