Potentilla subtrijuga (Th. Wolf) Juz.
Differs from Potentilla pamirica Th. Wolf var. pamirica in h aving c. 2 mm. long adpressed pilose indumentum on the petioles, densely snowy white tomentose hairs on the undersides of the leaflets and longer styles (c.1.5 mm.), which are a little thickened at the base.

Distribution: Russia, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Pakistan Kashmir and India.
Fairly common variety in northern Pakistan and Ladakh Kashmir.
