Plants mall, slender, slightly woody, stems branching, branches procumbent at base, densely woolly. Cauline leaves oblanceolate, 10×1.5 mm, apex acute, base sessile, abruptly narrowed at base, densely whitish woolly on both surfaces; bracteal leaves 7-10, radiate, generally unequal, linear-lanceolate, 6-12×1.5-2 mm, densely white woolly. Heads 4-9; involucre hemispheric, 3×4 mm, bracts 3-seriate, subequal, oblong, acute to obtuse; corolla of outer florets 2.5 mm long; corolla of central florets tubular, 2.5 mm long. Achenes oblong, 1 mm long. Pappus bristles white, 2.5 mm long.
