    Stems procumbent, stoloniferous, slender, to 50 cm long, sparsely pilose, internodes 5-10 cm long. Radical leaves rosulate, long petiolate, oblanceolate-oblong, 5.5-9×1.2-2.1 cm, pilose on both surfaces, lyrate-pinnatisect, terminal segment rounded, prominently dentate, lateral lobes gradually smaller toward base, 4-9 pairs, spreading, ovate to oblong, apex acute-mucronulate, rachis winged or not. Scapiform stems usually simple, rarely branching, 7 cm long, leafless, bracts 2 or 3, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 0.5-1.5 cm long. Involucre cylindric, calyculate, 7×4 mm, inner bracts 8. Florets 10; yellow, 9-11×2-2.5 mm. Achenes oblong, ribbed. Chromosome number, 2n = 16 (Peng & Hsu, 1978).

    Endemic; moist, mossy slopes in mid to high elevations.
