Echinospermum patulum Lehm.
Related to Lappula semiglabra, but with leaves hairy on both surfaces, shorter fruiting pedicel,(1.5 mm); nutlets with fewer marginal appendages (3.4) and middle dorsal area not keeled, but minutely tuberculate.
Type: ‘In deserto Caucasica-Caspico, Kuma & Terek, Lehmann s.n. (HBG).
Distribution: Iran, URSS, Afghanistan, Pakistan, W. Tibet, China.
To be expected from other parts of Pakistan. Generally found in weedy places. Fl. Per.: April-May.
