Annual, 15-60 cm tall, glabrous, yellow green, dichotomously branched. Lower leaves shortly petioled, lanceolate to oblong, obtuse, 9-11 veined; middle leaves sessile, amplexicaul or perfoliate, oblong to broadly oval, obtuse or shortly acuminate, veins c. 25; upper leaves ovate to suborbicular, perfoliate, veins numerous. Peduncles 1-2 cm long. Involucral bracts lacking. Rays 10-15, 5-10 mm long, conferted. Involucel of 5-6 yellow green oval bractlets, tips acuminate, veins 3-5. Stylopodium disc-shaped; styles short. Fruit oblong.
Type locality: Described from Syria.
Distribution: Southern Europe to Iran, W. Pakistan.
This species, like the previous one, is not common in W. Pakistan.
