This is a new record for Sind, and the species seems to be common in dry hills there. In Baluchistan, it also appears to be common on dry stony hills in the Loralai district. In Makran area it has come down to arid desert plains, and seems to be fairly common. S. Abedin & Abrar 6664 (KUH) is interesting because although it has been collected from wet sandy soil, it has not changed its appearance and fruit characters.
