Annual, 4-12 cm long, erect or suberect, branched mostly from the base, clothed with soft, branched hairs. Leaves few, scattered, oblanceolate, 15-35 mm long, 3-7 mm broad, entire, apex obtuse or rounded. Racemes 12-20-flowered, up to 4 cm long in fruit. Flowers 2-2.5 mm across, yellow; pedicels up to c. 2 mm long in fruit, curved outwards, slightly thickened. Sepals c. 1.2 mm long. Petals 2-2.5 mm long, c. 1 mm broad, spathulate. Stamens c. 1:1.5 mm long. Siliquae 4-5 (-6) mm long, 1-1.5 mm broad, terete pubescent; horns c. 0.5 mm long, with somewhat blunt apices; stigma minute, almost sessile; seeds usually 2 in each locule, 1-1.5 mm long, oblong-ovate, pale brown.

Type: Afghanistan: Der-Haji, gravelly plains, Griffith (W).
Distribution: Afghanistan and Pakistan.
