Annual, slender herb, 10-30 cm tall, glabrous. Leaf bases cuneate, not amplexicaul, usually subentire. Pods with a slight or no constriction in the middle, beset with minute vesicles, usually 4-5 mm long, 2-3 mm broad, tetragonal with conical apex; pedicels c. 10(-12) mm long, deflexed or subspreading. Other characters similar to the previous species.

Type: From Serayshan (LE).
Distribution: Central Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Goldbachia papulosa Vas. (in Kom., l.c. 480) with 2-celled fruits but with papillose or vesicular surface, may not be specifically different from it. Similar variation of fruit is also found in the previous species.
